About Shary Bartlett
Shary Bartlett (she/her) is a Canadian artist living in Vancouver, British Columbia. She teaches art workshops globally and nationally and has been a long-time fine arts instructor at Capilano University, Langara College and Red Deer College. Shary teaches online in the international Painting with Fire encaustic Masterclass, featuring 26 of the world’s top encaustic instructors. Her mixed-media encaustic paintings and sculptures have been exhibited worldwide, receiving International Encaustic Artists’ Award of Excellence and the Encaustic Art Institute’s Juror’s Award. Her work is held in public and private collections internationally.
Shary’s encaustic mixed media work and techniques are published in numerous magazines and in the books, Encaustic Art in the 21st Century, and Encaustic Revelation. Her personally curated encaustic wax pigment sets, created with Enkaustikos Paints, are sold internationally.
