About Linda Robertson
Linda Robertson (she/her) is an internationally recognized artist, educator, and author of the Embracing Encaustic book series. She has exhibited widely and has taught art workshops for over 20 years. Her work has been published in numerous books and periodicals, including American Art Collector, Authentic Visual Voices, and Professional Artist Magazine.
A frequent conference presenter, Linda has been a featured instructor at the Encaustic Conference in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and the International Encaustic Artists (IEA) retreat in Ireland. She leads annual 8-day art retreats in Ireland and founded the Oregon chapter of IEA more than two decades ago. In recognition of her significant contributions to the advancement of encaustic painting, she received the prestigious IEA La Vendéenne Award. Linda also teaches 3-day encaustic workshops each summer at the Pacific Northwest Art School on Whidbey Island, Washington.
