About Dana Harris Seeger

Dana Harris Seeger is an encaustic mixed media and artist living in Poulsbo, Washington. Her work in painting and printmaking captures the ephemeral nature of time and memory. As an identical twin and the mother of twins, she is constantly balancing, receding and emerging. As a Baltic American, her family ancestry is ever present in her life and work. Dana’s encaustic paintings and mixed media monotype prints use symbols from her heritage as well as her own vocabulary of images to connect with the past and tell her story. Dana received her MFA in Pictorial Art from San Jose State University in 2011 and her BA in Painting from Anderson University in 2004. She has won numerous awards for her work, exhibits nationally and teaches workshops in all the mixed media techniques she uses.
