Connection is at the heart of both art-making and community.

Come Together is an online exhibition presented by the Canadian Encaustic Conference that explores the many ways artists create connection—through materials, ideas, histories, and relationships. Working with wax, heat, and layered surfaces, encaustic artists are uniquely positioned to express themes of joining, binding, repairing, and coexistence.

This exhibition invited artists to reflect on how we gather and support one another, how differences can exist within shared spaces, and how art can bridge divides. Some works approached the theme literally, while others interpreted it metaphorically.

Presented entirely online, Come Together brings artists and viewers together across distances and highlights the diverse voices within the encaustic community.
